This shows you how the channels are organized, what each label means (GMRS, MURS, HAM, Emergency), how to adjust basic settings like transmit power and dual watch, and how to make sure you’re using the right antenna.

📜 Licensing & Disclaimers

It is recommended that you obtain the appropriate GMRS and Ham Radio licensing before transmitting on those frequencies. Listening is legal without a license. You are responsible for ensuring FCC compliance.

• Ham License (FCC Part 97) required to transmit on amateur frequencies.
• GMRS License required to transmit on GMRS frequencies.
• Do not transmit on public-safety channels (we disable this by default).
