Custom Radio Programming Service

Have a radio already? Let us program it for you — radios you own, fully customized for your area, so you don’t have to wrestle with chirp files, frequencies, or repeaters.

🛠 What We Do

For $89 per radio (discounts available for multiple radios), we will:

  • Program your radio for your region: GMRS, MURS, NOAA, and HAM repeater channels depending on the package you choose.

  • Include:
      - All HAM repeaters within 50 miles on radio-compatible bands
      - GMRS repeaters within 50 miles
      - NOAA Weather channels (10)
      - All standard GMRS channels
      - MURS channels
      - Local emergency service frequencies (police, fire, EMS) that are not encrypted or restricted

Programming is built around your ZIP code (or location) to ensure local relevance. If you need programming for multiple areas, each unique location requires its own order.

⚠️ Which Radios We Can Program

Please contact us before placing your order to confirm compatibility. We can’t guarantee all models are supported.

Here are our current restrictions:

  • Brands we generally service: Baofeng, Wouxun, BTECH

  • Date: Radios from 2020 or newer only

  • Type: Must be analog FM — no DMR or other digital modes at this time

Many newer models are not compatible with CHIRP or have firmware/software constraints that prevent proper programming. That’s why we verify your specific make and model before you order.

📦 How It Works

  1. Confirm first: Reach out with your radio brand and model to confirm we can program it.

  2. Once confirmed, place your order.

  3. Ship your radio to us:
    You are responsible for the shipping fees to send radios to us. Please mail them via USPS to:

  4. We will program your radio (allow up to 10 business days for processing) based on your ZIP and preferred frequencies.

  5. Return shipping is included — we’ll send it back to you with tracking.

💵 Pricing & Multiple Radios

  • 1 radio: $89

  • 2+ radios: Discounted pricing per unit (see options at checkout)

  • Each additional location or ZIP you need programmed requires its own programming build (separate order per area).
