📜 Licensing & Disclaimers

It is recommended that you obtain the appropriate GMRS and Ham Radio licensing before transmitting on GMRS and Ham frequencies with this radio. Listening is legal without a license. As a consumer, you are responsible to make sure you are not violating FCC rules, and that you understand what channels you can transmit on. 

• Ham License (FCC Part 97) is required to transmit on amateur frequencies. Listening to ham repeaters or channels does not require a license.
• GMRS License is required to transmit on GMRS frequencies. Listening to GMRS repeaters or channels does not require a license.
• Do not transmit on emergency public-safety channels. We turn this setting off by default.

Please allow 7–10 business days for your order while we create your custom radio programming file. Because each program is tailored to your location, processing times can vary — though we’ll always complete it faster if possible.

Once programming is finished, we ship your order via USPS Priority Mail, which typically takes an additional 2–3 business days to arrive. Please note that holidays and weekends may extend delivery times.
